Mexican number format after the 2019 change
Mexico's country code is +52 and every national number has 10 digits. On 3 August 2019 the regulator IFT introduced uniform 10-digit dialling and removed the old prefixes 01 (long distance), 044 and 045 (calls to mobiles), with a one-year transition that ended on 3 August 2020.
