The reason being, it's easy to get used to a regular set of characters, then a new one comes along to rock the boat. The character in question is, of course, Gatot Kaca, who originally showed up in Gates of Gatot Kaca, a continuation of the studio's 'Gates' range. Gatot Kaca is back, and for some reason, he isn't happy about something. Let's see if we can figure out what's got him so miffed.
An exotic character gets an equally exotic location, and Gatot Kaca's Fury takes place amidst a fancy buildings in the mountains type spot. Not quite sure what happens around here, though. It looks like the sort of place which trains both the mind and the body to create holistically lethal warriors. A Shaolin Warrior Monks sort of deal, perhaps. That sort of thing, anyway. Of course, we could be totally off the mark with this assumption, but that was the gist. No doubt Gatot Kaca's Fury looks exotic, and a soft spot for creating Asian-themed slots has given Pragmatic Play the confidence to branch out to be more experimental in its choice of setting and characters.

Moving on to the gaming side of the deal, the slot Gatot Kaca's Fury most resembles isn't the previous Gates one but the pooch-populated classic The Dog House. Really, the gameplay in both slots is very similar. In a nutshell, wilds land to boost the win multiplier, where they become sticky in free spins, then collect - hopefully. Is Gatot Kaca's Fury's way of doing things, adding a random value to a global multiplier, better than The Dog House's method of each wild generating its own multiplier, or worse? Hmm, neither seems massively better nor worse, or hugely different, really. Both provide the opportunity for some exciting multiplicative action, and Gatot Kaca's Fury's potential isn't far off The Dog House's either, held in check by a 5,000x the bet win cap.
While Gatot Kaca's Fury can't compete with its sibling in the adorability stakes, it will probably score higher for players with a stronger interest in Asian-themed slots. Those in this audience may be quite intrigued by Gatot Kaca's Fury premise, and its features aren't bad either. Though, it is kind of hard to go totally wrong with sticky wilds and a global multiplier. All in all, Gatot Kaca's Fury wasn't extraordinary, but it wasn't terrible either, largely due to the fairly unique subject matter and slightly tweaked proven mechanics.
